When I suffered through a heatwave and had my central A/C breakdown, I didn’t know what to do.
- I was talking to my girlfriend and telling her how bad I was suffering.
She said her central A/C was working just fine, but I was happy when she offered to let me borrow her window A/C unit. She said she uses the window A/C in her room for the perfect cooling during the night. She told me that she can’t really sleep without it and it has a very cool remote that makes life easy for her. She brought the whole window A/C over, remote and all. I was thankful to my girlfriend for thinking about my comfort. I ended up locking myself in the room with the window A/C unit working and the room felt perfectly cool after about an hour. I really enjoyed using that small remote as well. Well, when I finally had my central cooling system repaired, I uninstalled the window A/C unit and brought it back to my girlfriend to help her install it back in her bedroom window. She asked me how it worked for me and I said it made me feel entirely comfortable in my room. I even told her how I never got such good sleep before. Then after we hooked it up, she asked me where the remote was. I searched my pockets and then realized I wasn’t sure where I put the remote! I ended up buying her the same model with a new remote and I kept her old window A/C that was missing the remote. I’m sure it will turn up eventually.
