When I found out my sister had finally chosen a career path, I was eager to show my excitement. You see, my sister for the past 4 years has been constantly switching jobs because she has no idea what she wants to be in life. Well, it caused a lot of issues, because she wouldn’t stay at a job longer than 6 months. So when she told me that she thinks she finally found what she wanted to spend her life doing, I was very supportive. She told me she wanted to be a kindergarten teacher, and work with kids all her life. She was very good with kids, so I thought this was a wise idea. However, you needed to go to college to be a teacher, and she didn’t have enough money. I told her she should get a job so she could start paying for her tuition and she seemed quite eager to do so. She did manage to get a job close to a month later. Her new job was working as a HVAC receptionist for the local heating and cooling dealer. She took HVAC appointments, HVAC orders and answered any questions customers might have on the furnace and cooling units. It seemed like an easy enough job, and the best part was, this HVAC job paid more than any of her previous jobs did. Although I had worried previously that she might quit if she doesn’t like the job, on her first day, she called me to tell me how much she loved this job already, and she has never done that before, so I think she is off to a good start.
