I love my sibling, however he has never had a lot of gumption.
I suppose he is the youngest of multiple sons, and quite spoiled, but I had hoped he would grow up after graduating from school.
He should have come out of school prepared to beginning life and a career. Instead of starting a career, he moved back in with mom and dad, and did nothing. Being the oldest son, I felt I should take him under my wing. I tried to talk to him about being more than a beach bum. He needed to find his path in life. I even tried to shock him by reminding that mom and dad were in their sixties, and they would not consistently be there for him to sponge off. He looked at me with wild eyeah and then nodded. He told me that if mom and dad didn’t want him, he would need to work. This sounded wonderful until he said he would just get a task in my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier. I wasn’t sure I would be amenable to hiring my sibling in my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier. Not only did he not have any gumption, however he was lazy. He said he had been going to Heating, Ventilation, and A/C certification classes over the last six months. He was at the top of his class and he was planning on asking me if I would supply him an apprenticeship. For the first time in years, I had some hope for my sibling. That didn’t mean I was sure if I wanted to hire him for my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier.
