I actually was freaking out last warm season during this intense heatwave. I was really hoping my A/C system would make it through the struggle, but it didn’t. Sadly, I didn’t have any back up cooling system to help keep the place cool, so I went to the store looking for window A/C units. Unfortunately, I didn’t find anything at the store and I didn’t know what to do. Then I talked to my buddy on the phone and he was telling me how I could get a really nice window A/C unit online. He said I would probably find something way better than what they have in the stores anyway. He helped me find a really cool window A/C unit that came with a really nice remote. I had it shipped overnight and I was able to install it right away when it was delivered. I couldn’t believe how much A/C that thing was able to crank out and I almost forgot that we were experiencing a heatwave and that my central A/C system wasn’t even working. Eventually, I was able to get an HVAC professional out to my house to repair my central A/C, but I still didn’t want to put away my new window A/C unit. I ended up installing it in my bedroom window thinking it would be great for getting better sleep during the night with extra A/C in my room. It also made it so I didn’t have to crank the central A/C which ultimately saved me a lot of money on the energy bills.
