I am someone who likes to do things just to make sure all is good.
This is why I sometimes change the air filter of my central heating and air conditioning system earlier than it actually needs to be changed.
It’s better safe than sorry as they say. And that is exactly how I feel when it comes to this subject. Usually i change my air filter to my central heating and air conditioning system once every month and a half or so. But sometimes if I feel that the air quality may be suffering or if my central heating and air conditioning system unit seems to be not giving good enough air flow, I will change the air filter earlier. Some people think I am crazy for doing so and have even been told that it is a waste of money not getting the most out of an air filter for the central heating and air conditioning system. However, I do not care what they think. I know what I do is the right thing and it potentially saves my central heating and air conditioning system unit from having to work overtime. Cause when a central heating and air conditioning system works overtime, this could very well mean the death of the HVAC unit. This would cost thousands of dollars to get a brand new and up to date central heat and a/c system, so you naturally do not want to even risk having your central heating and cooling unit break down to the point of no repair being possible.
