I am thankful for what I have considering our severe financial troubles.
I’m thrilled I’m able to put food on the table that is more diverse than ramon noodles & cheap cereal, although that requires lots of planning & watching sales & coupons at all of the nearby grocery stores to get the best prices.
If I didn’t cut coupons to this degree, I wouldn’t be able to spend money our bills every month. I’ll be honest, I was hoping that I would be in a better place in life at this age than where I am at currently. I could have gone to law school, & perhaps I would be happier if I had chosen that path in life. Still, I have to continue on with whatever I have left & be content with our fate, regardless of where it takes me. One thing I’m seriously thankful for in our life is our car & it’s amazing air conditioning & gas furnace inside. I bought this used car with only 30,000 miles on it & I have yet to need any major mechanical repairs on the car since I purchased it. I hope that I get more years of use out of this amazing car. I guess it makes a immense difference with vehicles having a wonderful heating & cooling idea inside. There are a lot of things I can give up if it means trading them for a wonderful heating & cooling system. During our frosty winters, I will freeze in the car on the way to labor if I don’t have a wonderful gas furnace running inside the car at all times. The same can be said in the summer time when temperatures are seriously hot outside. I live in a region that has dramatic seasonal changes throughout the year.
