I bought an air purifier for my bedroom a couple of months ago and my roommate complained about the cost for electricity.
Our deal is that we split the rent and the cost of utilities right down the middle.
My roommate wanted me to pay more for the air purifier, but we looked up the numbers and it only cost $3 every month to run the machine. The air cleaning machine gets rid of pollen, pet dander, dust, and other indoor allergens. When I left for winter break, I didn’t take the air purifier with me. My mom and dad installed an air filtration system in the house a couple of months ago. It wasn’t necessary to have the air purifier at home with me. While I was gone, I know my roommate was using the air purifier. On the back of the machine, there is a small dial that keeps track of the hours the machine has been used. I knew that I was getting close to the time when the number would change to 3 digits. When I came home from vacation, I was already at 125. He used the machine a couple of days while I was away. I said something to my roommate as soon as I realized the machine had been used. He admitted that the indoor air seemed much more clean and fresh and also believed he would eventually buy the same small machine for his room. The guy has a small cat in his room and he could really tell the difference after using the air cleaner for a couple of days.
