My hubby and I are both educators… He’s a teacher at a local school and I am a 5th grade educator at a public school. All of us met when all of us were in school and he has typically wanted to teach at a school, however my dream was to teach younger kids. Essentially, all of us are both doing what all of us are sentimental about, so all of us go the extra mile for our students. Teaching at a school is different from teaching in the public school system. For 1 the private institutions have a lot more funding. I spend a lot of my money on school supplies for my students because a lot of times all of us never have enough. There are so many perks and luxuries that my hubby has although I don’t. One of which is that he has in his office and in his classrooms. It’s a luxury because currently my school doesn’t have and all of us are waiting for the funding from the school board. So, until that is approved all of us are forced to stand in hot classrooms, however many educators have complained about it however because of how the plan works, there is not much more that can be done. Having is pressing because the students need to be in comfortable environments while they learn. A few years ago, the classrooms weren’t as hot and all of us managed without a/cs, however now that the weather is getting brutal, it has become unbearable. I just hope that the money is released soon so that all of us can finally have the luxury of air conditioned classrooms.
