There’s nothing that is actually more stressful than being an adult plus learning that you are losing your major source of income.
It’s an incredibly upset time plus it seems like nothing is going right in your life when you’re not easily sure where your next paycheck will originate from.
When you’re looking for modern work, everything feels like a serious emergency… Every work posting, every application, plus every work interview are chances to get back on your feet. Or, at least, that is how it has been with me. For the past few weeks I have been desperately trying to get work after losing my office gig. It’s a seriously stressful period of my life. The other week, I was gleeful to acquire an interview invitation at a local insurance dealer. Happily, thanks to their awful indoor air temperature control equipment, I’m sure that I blew the chance. From the second that I walked into the lobby of the building, I noticed that the air temperature was seriously overheated. It felt like they had the gas heating equipment turned up to a hundred degrees inside of the office building. I sat quietly plus waited for my interviewer to be ready, although I was perspiring through my shirt the whole time. It felt like there was sizzling air blowing directly on my face from just about every direction. When I peered around, I noticed HVAC vents everywhere. Unhappily, they were streaming high-powered plus seriously overheated air directly from the oil furnace. By the time I was called into the interview, my hands were completely slick with sweat plus there was a wet spot where I had been hanging out in the waiting room. I suppose I’ll just keep perspiring through the work application process.
