My boss used to work for his Grandfather who had a roofing business, and he was a teenager at the time, plus he received his pocket currency by climbing up on rooves in the 90 degree heat plus humidity of the southeast.
Now that he is twenty years older – or more – he still appreciates that he works indoors where there is a/c running all the time; So, last week, I saw a roofer working on the roof across the parking lot from my townhouse.
That made myself and others remember my boss’s stories, so I headed on over there to that guy. He plus his coworkers had climbed down from the roof to grab a bite to eat at breakfasttime, plus since I was home, I decided to invite them into my new home to appreciate the a/c while they ate their sandwiches. I made some lemonade plus provided a piece of the cake I had baked the afternoon before. They were so appreciative of the goodies, but by far, they were happiest about being able to rest in the air conditioner. I can’t blame them, blatantly. I got too sizzling just walking across the parking lot to invite them, plus I had to get into the air conditioner myself! I am a weakling plus could never have a job that didn’t supply a/c plus superb indoor air conditions, and rescuing the roofer made myself and others believe appreciate I was the best person in the world that afternoon until I saw the gentlemen gathered into a large truck a couple hours later. They had the truck on plus the a/c blowing full blast! That means that they do take some time to appreciate the air conditioner each afternoon, I suspect. Nonetheless, I still believe superb about myself for sharing my cake, lemonade, plus a/c for a little while.
