Signs that you need to upgrade or replace your cooling product

Last spring, I went for a silent retreat. The silent retreat is a getaway where you remain silent and meditate, sort of a yoga retreat. The silence is so that you can become in tune with your inner person and have the strength to face your demons. The accommodation at the retreat was basic but comfortable which is important to me especially when I am sleeping away from home. The first night was fine, I slept all though because I was exhausted from the 3-hour journey. After breakfast, I went back to the room for a shower and I noticed that the heat pump was making an unusual noise. I made a mental note to advise the reception to call the local service provider. The room was also a bit stuffy and hot. I showered and left for our first session of the day. Before I left, I set the wifi thermostat to low so that when I came back in the afternoon the multi-split air conditioning would have cooled the room. At night, I could feel the cooling effect slowly fade away as the heat made its way back into my room. The receptionist said that the heat pump was installed and promised to contact a cooling expert to check on the cooling product. By the third day, the regulator was not working and by this time, I, who did not know more about air conditioning, presumed that something was definitely wrong with this system. As we left, a van full of cooling workmen from the local business drove in. A friend at the resort confirmed that they did a new a/c setup as per the standards of the cooling industry. It was done by the state indoor comfort business.
