Working from lake house comes with some benefits.
While I don’t get to enjoy the appealing zone controlled Heating plus Air Conditioning comfort of the office, there are trade offs. And 1 of those trade offs is, for the most part, that my work schedule is up to me. This is something that is a really nice benefit. I love the plan that I can get my work done on my schedule plus not have to work traditional hours afternoon in plus afternoon out. So if I need to go option up the youngsters or whatever, I can put my work down plus go do that. This makes our lives infinitely easier to schedule. However during the summer, I stick to a pretty set schedule that is dictated by both the outside temperature plus the indoor thermostat. That’s right, I tend to work around the worst heat of the afternoon. What I do is get up really early plus get to work. I keep the pace going until after lunch. We keep the thermostat in the low 78’s during the heat of the afternoon in order to save as much as possible on the Heating plus Air Conditioning cooling. So I take this part of the afternoon to go do my errands plus get more Heating plus Air Conditioning cooling for free. I schedule my errands around the sites I have to go with the best air conditioner. Then during the later part of the afternoon as the heat wanes plus the thermostat drops some, I’m back in my office to finish my afternoons work before starting supper. It works out pretty good for me plus I get both my work plus errands done while also enjoying someone else’s Heating plus Air Conditioning cooling during the heat of the afternoon.
