There’s nothing more stressing than being an adult plus finding out that you are losing your major source of income! It’s an incredibly distraught time plus it seems basically like nothing is going right in your life when you are not sure where your next paycheck will come from… When you are looking for a current task, everything feels kind of like a complete emergency.
Every task posting, every application, plus every task interview are a desperate opportunity to get back on your feet! Or, at least, that is how it has been in my life.
For the past several weeks I’ve been desperately searching for a current task after losing my boring office gig. It’s an extremely stressful phase of my life. The other week, I was excited to receive an interview invitation at a local insurance supplier. Then unfortunately, thanks to their terrible indoor air temperature control devices, I am pretty sure that I blew the opportunity entirely. From the moment that I walked into the lobby of the building, I noticed that the air temperature was extremely uncomfortable. It felt as though they had the oil furnace turned up to a hundred degrees inside of the office building. I sat patiently plus waited for my interviewer to be ready to go. I was covered in sweat through my shirt the entire time though. It felt kind of like there was hot air blowing directly on my face from every direction. When I looked around, I saw HVAC vents everywhere. Sadly, they were streaming high-powered plus extremely sizzling air directly from the gas furnace. By the time I was called into the interview, my hands were slick with sweat plus there was a wet spot where I had been resting in the waiting room. I know I shall just keep covered in sweat through the job application process.
