Thankful for the warning from the HVAC technician

With that in mind, we went with the latest and greatest residential HVAC had to offer

Getting a heads up on some bad news is always a good thing for me. I really don’t like to get caught dealing with a big challenge that I didn’t see coming at all. I suppose that I just really like being prepared for whatever is coming at me. So when the HVAC technician came to the door to tell me that the old HVAC unit was on its last legs, I was grateful. Sure, my initial reaction was one of disappointment. But honestly, the old HVAC unit had run admirably for the past twenty three years. It’s not like I didn’t get the value I was due from that heating and cooling equipment. No, just knowing that we needed to get a plan together to upgrade the HVAC equipment was a good thing. And I didn’t wait to get going on the new HVAC equipment either. The next day, I put together a new savings account and my wife and I started actively saving for the new HVAC. But we were also given the gift of time in order to really figure out just what we were going to do. In some ways, it felt smarter to go a bit overboard with the HVAC technology in the event that we put that house on the market. This was a very real possibility now that we were empty nesters. We weren’t going to be in this house forever. With that in mind, we went with the latest and greatest residential HVAC had to offer. And I have to say, the new heating and cooling equipment in our home is most impressive. Even if we wait a year or three to get the house on the market, we’re sure going to enjoy the best heating and cooling we’ve ever had.
