The places they put air vents in houses can be a real pain! Sometimes the air vents are placed in just the right spaces.
- And other times they are placed in the wrong spaces.
It all depends on the construction company that built the home. I have this one air vent right over my bed. And while in the beginning it was great to be able to have quality heating and air conditioning blowing on me while I sleep to keep me warm or cool, it now is a major problem. My air vent in the bedroom has been leaking. Because of this I ended up having to move my bed to another section of the bedroom. I called the local heating and air conditioning company to come and have a look to see if they could figure out what was going on and why. The certified heating and air conditioning specialist had said it was due to a slight clog in the ductwork of my central heating and cooling unit. So I had to hire the local heating and air conditioning company to do a really good ductwork cleaning. The ductwork cleaning cost me a bit of extra money. But just as the certified heating and air conditioning worker had said, it stopped the leak and I was able to have my bed right where I wanted it under the air vents once again. I was very happy that it was an easy fix for the most. I just didn’t dig having to pay the extra hundred or 2 for the ductwork cleaning. That set me back a little bit.
