The car in my parent’s yard doesn’t have a/c, however so a few months ago, someone left a random car in my parent’s front yard with a note that told them that they could have the car for free.
It is not the nicest car in the world, but it is in pretty unbelievable condition.
My parents don’t know who provided them the car because they didn’t even recognize the car. The other day, my car broke down, so they told me that I could try taking that random car in their front yard to work. I decided to take them up on their offer, but I was a bit anxious about it. It turns out the car runs truly nicely, but the air conditioning doesn’t work. It was over one hundred degrees outside that day, and I drove a car an hour to work and an hour back that did not have a/c! Let’s just say that it was one of the most miserable trips I have ever been on, however air conditioning is absolutely necessary where my friend and I live. I am glad that I told my dad that the car did not have a/c because she was thinking about taking the car on a three hundred mile trip to visit her uncle. She would have melted in that car without a/c. My dad does plan to get the a/c fixed in the car. She said that she found a leak in one of the a/c lines, and she is going to try to patch that leak before she absolutely spends the cash to take it to a mechanic.
