The car in my parent’s yard doesn’t have air conditioning.
- So a few months ago, someone left a random car in my parent’s front yard with a note that told them that they could have the car for free.
It is not the nicest car in the world, but it is in pretty good condition. My parents don’t know who gave them the car because they didn’t even recognize the car. The other day, my car broke down, so they told me that I could try taking that random car in their front yard to work. I decided to take them up on their offer, but I was a bit nervous about it. It turns out the car runs very nicely, but the air conditioner doesn’t work. It was over one hundred degrees outside that day, and I drove a car an hour to work and an hour back that did not have air conditioning. Let’s just say that it was one of the most miserable trips I have ever been on. Air conditioning is certainly necessary where we live. I am glad that I told my dad that the car did not have air conditioning because he was thinking about taking the car on a three hundred mile trip to visit his uncle. He would have melted in that car without air conditioning. My dad does plan to get the air conditioning fixed in the car. He said that he found a leak in one of the air conditioning lines, and he is going to try to patch that leak before he actually spends the money to take it to a mechanic.
