The old books need to be kept at the perfect temperature

A while back, our local Barnes & Noble procured a shipment of exotic books making its way around the world to odd libraries.

They embarked on this book tour, of sorts, several months ago.

The books spend approximately 15-30 days in any given town or town. These identifiable books were from a dry & humid temperature, & were somewhat fragile from that so they needed to be kept at an even 62º in order to be kept in excellent condition. The Barnes & Noble in our town has had an incredibly janky HVAC device for years, it was installed decades ago, & can barely puff out a single gust of cold air into the room while on a hot day! It is the worst thing in the world to be quite honest, so when the head librarian heard she would need to get the air temperature completely under control, she called in a local Heating, Ventilation, & A/C device professional to come take a look at the lower section of the Barnes & Noble where they would keep the collection of books. The Heating, Ventilation, & A/C device tech came to look with a supplier, as they would need to drill into some brick & cement in certain cases. They figured out a great plan, & provided the head librarian their estimate for time & materials, then the work got started. After so many weeks, nearly 3 days before the books were set to arrive, they were finished with construction & the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C devices installed below worked rather well. Everything was perfect, the a/c device left the room comfortably cool & some excellent air flow going through the room.
