I took the position of the building manager when the outdated one quit.
I was already helping out with strange tasks from time to time with the plumbing, Heating, AC, plus other general complications around the building.
The owner assumed I was comprehensionable enough to provide myself and others the building manager position. She honestly did not ask a lot of questions or ask for a resume. I did not disagree, because the position came with a free beach house plus I was paying $1,200 every week. That freed up a lot of money for my savings account. Of course I ran into a ton of complications instantly plus one of those complications landed myself and others in the emergency room. I had to help a resident with a radiator furnace in their apartment. While I was laboring on the radiator furnace problem, I burnt a large portion of my arm. The hair on my arm was burned plus all of the skin was melted. I thought I was going to pass out from the pain plus I decided to go to the emergency room. The beach house renter called the owner of the building plus told the woman exactly what occurred with the radiator heater. She called my cell phone while I was kneeling in the waiting room being assessed by the medical professional. The woman was worried about my health plus well-being plus even gave to pay for some of the medical bills. I was surprised by her generous nature plus did not expect to hear that. I thought she was going to tell myself and others to pack up my apartment.
