Both of us are definitely going to have to do something about the giant window that’s on the west side of our house. The way that the room starts heating up in the day sunshine is costing us a fortune in a/c bills while I was in the Spring, summer, and fall. The only time that it is entirely helpful is while I was in the coldest Wintertide months, and I am not definitely sure why the general supplier who built this home put that window in right there in the first place. In my opinion, it should have been placed elsewhere in the house. I also guess it would be better if it was the afternoon sunshine that came in rather than the evening sun. I don’t know, maybe the guy just had a thing for sunsets and he wanted whoever bought the home to be able to watch them every evening; however, since the room starts heating up so much, nobody even wants to go in there, much less watch any of the sunsets. It’s definitely too terrible, and in the summer, the people I was with and I have to pay a fortune in cooling bills because of it. It heats up literally the whole house. It’s pretty helpful in the winter, because you can go in there and get warmed up when the rest of the home might be a little bit chilly… But in the summer, you can just forget it. It gets so tepid in there, that even when you are resting right next to that a/c vent in the corner of the room, the temperature is still too sizzling to stay in there for absolutely long. It’s really unlucky because that room has the comfiest furniture of anywhere else in the house. It would be a fantastic place for families to get together in the evenings if only it wasn’t so hot.
