I guess blessed to have a task, and that is the truth; I continue to receive a living, and I suppose that I am legitimately blessed not to have been laid off, but not only that, I am blessed to have a task that is inside. Every day, I see lots of people working outside. They are cleaning. They are doing construction. They are repairing rooves. They are painting lines on the street. There are just so numerous tasks that take place outside, and that is no weakling that can do that kind of toil in the southeast, working outside is not for me! I have to have a/c or I would likely faint dead away. I am nowhere near strong enough to struggle through the day without having Heating, Ventilation & A/C to keep myself and others comfortable. In fact, the Heating, Ventilation & A/C in our office is not known to be the best cooling system in the world, and I have been known to complain about the cooling system in the Summer and the heating in the winter. It seems like both of us can’t manage to get the heating and cooling to blow as hot or as chilly as both of us want. In fact, our boss’s cooling system never provides enough cooling, and I keep a blazer over the back of our chair for when the cooling system is just too cold. Even so, I suppose that I am not strong enough to join the people who are stressed working in the heat and humidity. I remember when I was young, I used to have a part-time task and I did not have a car, so I had to walk to and from work, just walking to our task was a challenge, however still, I worked inside where there was a/c running and nice indoor air quality. I have been blessed indeed.
