You should have a backup heater

If someone that has not a single, but multiple backup heaters.

I cannot express enough the importance of having a backup oil furnace if you live in a cold temperature.

I know various people that rely on a single gas furnace solely and if you ask myself and others I know that is a dangerous thing to do. If you live in a certainly cold temperature to the point where if you lost your oil furnace you’re at risk of cold to death, you genuinely should have some sort of backup system. For me, I use for our main gas furnace in electric gas furnace that heats the home! However, if the gas furnace were to fill and I could not get emergency heating and A/C services out here in time I have multiple other gas furnaces that I bought for our local Heating plus A/C contractor that I could rely on. For starters, I have a space heater, and yes while it might only warm a single room at a time, it is still better than nothing and our space oil furnace is certainly efficient at heating our home. In addition to the space heater, I also have a fireplace. With all the fine gas furnaces that I have I am not at all concerned about having our condo become cold cold anytime soon. I have recommended that our friends and family do the same thing and while some of them have done so, others seem more reluctant because of the cost and they are doubtful that their gas furnace could mess up on them… But take it from someone whose gas furnace has broken down while I was in the cold Winter weeks before, it is better to have a backup system and not need to use it and to be without it when you genuinely need a single.
