I cannot express enough the importance of having a backup furnace if you live in a frosty climate.
I believe several people that rely on 1 oil furnace solely plus if you ask myself and others I believe that is a dangerous thing to do. I have recommended that our friends plus family do the same thing plus while some of them have done so, others seem more reluctant because of the cost plus they are doubtful that their furnace could mess up on them; But take it from someone whose furnace has broken down during the frosty Wintertide weeks before, it is better to have a backup system plus not need to use it plus to be without it when you particularly need 1.
