I’m building an addition onto my home this summer.
- I’ve been considering doing this for a while now, but now I feel that I’m finally going to get it built! Until now, it has never entirely felt like it was the best time.
There was always something going on with my wife or my kids, that were always getting in the way of getting the job done. This summer, though, I have finally decided I am going to move this to the top of the list and get the addition built on. I already have a general construction contractor, but he is having problems with the HVAC company he chose. He told me that if I wanted to find my own HVAC company, then that would be OK with him. So, I am now on the lookout for a dependable HVAC company in my part of town. The general contractor is supposed to be doing all of this for us, but, honestly, I’m ecstatic that he has given me something to do. Otherwise, I would just be sitting around, twiddling my thumbs while all of the other job gets done. I need to be helpful, I need to be part of getting this built. So, what’s my problem? I have no idea who to get to do the HVAC job for me. I have never hired an HVACt company before in my entire life, so I’m calling around, asking people for their advice and recommendations. Hopefully, I can find someone soon because I don’t want to get behind before the project is even started!
