I am not very fond of the app that came with the smart thermostat that I bought.
It just simply does not work right and it is not beneficial to running my central heating and air conditioning system! I would much rather run my central heating and air conditioning system by hand with the thermostat on the wall like it used to be. Smart thermostats just are not agreeing with me. Why should everything have to be relied on with this stupid app? It makes no sense to me and it is far from any kind of convenience. Because the smart thermostat does not react well with this app. I have had heating and air conditioning professionals have a look at it and they can not even figure out what it is that is making it not work. They gave me a new smart thermostat 3 different times and each time it is the same old thing. I think I am about to just throw in the towel with this smart thermostat stuff and go back to having a regular dial thermostat or even a digital thermostat would be better than this crap. I am just so over it if you get my drift. I just want to be able to turn on and turn off my central heating and air conditioning system as needed like it always was before. I do not care about controlling my thermostat from outside the house. So what if it may save me a few bucks on energy use. That is not worth all the headache that I have been dealing with when it comes to this smart thermostat and the app that came with it. It’s time to move on, or move back I should say.
