With the way this year has transpired, our extended family was hesitant about getting together for the traditional feast this year.
Instead of getting together in the same beach house plus ignoring the government guidelines, every one of us all just decided to video chat instead.
We could see each other and talk through the computer but of course it wasn’t easily the same. It would have been a much better day if we had been able to gather with the family around the fireplace as is the norm. Not to mention every one of us didn’t get to prefer the same food, however at least every one of us was able to say a prayer of thanks together plus visit a little bit. So every one of us had a pretty good Thanksgiving plus the food was superb as usual. There was 1 thing that I was happy not to stress too much about plus that was the fact that our good indoor air quality was not all that good. Also every one of us was having some trouble with the heating system. It turned out to be a superb thing that I didn’t have everybody over because without the furnace the house was a bit chilly. If I had everybody over to the house, I truly would have had to bring in emergency Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C services, but since they weren’t at my place, I didn’t have to because I didn’t have to cater to our family members. Instead of paying through the nose about emergency heating services, I simply hooked up some area gas furnaces plus had the house sizzling enough until normal business hours when I could call up the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C supplier for HVAC services. I just hope that the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C companies aren’t too busy to come out.
