I have been that way for my entire life.
I imagine I was one of few children who never was nagged to clean up my room. In fact, my mom would often make me go outside because I wanted to clean up other people’s rooms as well. It’s no different in my house now. Our place is immaculate and it stays that way. The only problem is due to the central heating system, it was not smelling that way. This was a real complication for me. First and foremost, I abhor the presence of offensive smells. Then, I hated the fact that our clean home was somehow being betrayed by the nasty smells. It was something that I wanted to do something about. We live in a climate where the heating system is on nearly all through the year. There might be a couple of months when we can open the windows. However, mostly the heat is on. Since we seal up the house pretty tight in order to get the most from our heating efficiency, the air gets recycled along with the household pet and cooking smells. I finally gave up on the air sanitizers from the store and called the HVAC people. They were able to solve our situation once and for all. That solution came in the form of a whole house air purifier. They installed it inside the air handler of the HVAC system. Within mere minutes, I could smell the difference. But after a single day, it was as though I was walking into a completely different house altogether because it smelled so clean and pure.
