I ended up asking him out for another date
I was set up recently with this guy Jon, and I was pleasantly surprised that he was cute, nice and polite. The only issue was that the guy had nothing to say. The lunch was quite boring and I figured I would never seen him again. The only interesting thing he had to offer was that he is an HVAC serviceman. When he walked me to my front door and I was going to send him on his way, I noticed my furnace wasn’t working! Rather than tell him to go, I invited him in and started poking at the old thing,when Jon came over instantaneously and deduced the furnace was shot. He even tore open the inside of the furnace to look at it without any issue. He pointed out the worn part on my furnace and googled the nearest store that carried it. That evening, we both went to the store, got the furnace part and he did the repairs. He got dirt and grease on his hands and clothes. He even paid for the furnace part and did not charge me for his help. Jon was so nice, easy going and good about the task while I was a mess. At the end of the evening, I was a little reluctant to see him go. I ended up asking him out for another date. Things are going well between the both of us. Turns out he is just a shy guy that needed to loosen up. Now I am dating HVAC serviceman and I no longer worry about my a/c or heating system dying on me.
