I was set up recently with this man Ben.
I was pleasantly surprised that he was cute, nice as well as polite.
The problem was that the man had absolutely nothing to say. The supper was quite boring and I assumed I would never seen him again. The only interesting thing he had to offer was that he is an HVAC technician. When he walked me to my door and I was about to send him on his way, I observed my furnace wasn’t on. Rather than tell him to go I invited him in as I started poking at my furnace. Ben looked it over and deduced the furnace was shot, then he tore open the inside of the unit without any issue. He pointed out the worn area on my old furnace and googled the nearest store that carried it. That night we went to the store, got what we needed, and he did the replacement. He got all sorts of dirt as well as grease on his hands as well as clothes. He even paid for the the furnace part and did not charge me for his services. Ben was so nice, easy going and fantastic about the job while I was a mess. At the end of the night I was a little reluctant to see him go. I ended up asking him out for another date. Things are going well between us. Turns out that he is just a shy man that needed to open up, and now I am dating an HVAC service technician and I no longer worry about my furnace dying on me.
