Normally, I hire an HVAC professional to come repair my HVAC plan twice per year, before I transition between my furnace plus cooling system. This year though, the temperature spiked plus I was forced to turn on my cooling system before the HVAC professional came plus ran tests on the HVAC equipment. I thought everything was going to be fine, but then I started noticing some odd things happening with my cooling system! For starters, I felt adore the air coming out of my air vents wasn’t as frosty as it should be. The temperature on the thermostat wasn’t matching the temperature of the air coming into my home. I also started noticing ice building up on the A/C unit. I called an HVAC professional right away plus busy an emergency visit. I knew something was wrong with my air conditioning plan plus I didn’t want to risk damaging the plan anymore. I told the HVAC professional about the lukewarm air plus the ice buildup, plus he got to work, then eventually, he found out that my refrigerant levels were too low plus the coils were dirty. He added more refrigerant plus safely melted the ice, however when he was done, I asked him if this all could have been avoided if I’d had my HVAC plan ran tests on before switching on my cooling system, plus he said that an HVAC professional would have more than likely noticed the low refrigerant plus dirty coils while I was in that time. I vowed to never switch between my furnace plus cooling system before having it looked at first!
