I live in a town that used to have the most charming weather in the country. In fact, most residents will tell you that it’s part of the reason for them moving here. For me, the weather was honestly a determining factor. In the summer, the temperature in the morning was so cool that sometimes you needed to put on a jacket. And at days, the temperature dropped between 60 plus 65 degrees. So, having an A/C in this section was pointless. Not to mention that the section I live in has a single of the lowest amount of A/Cs in homes based on the census data collected. So, it was regular for most of our homes to not have A/C because the weather was regularly nice enough. Unluckyly, over the last few years, the people I was with and I have been experiencing heat waves plus the need for A/Cs have increased. A recent survey showed that over the last 7 years, 10 percent more homes in our town installed A/Cs as the numbers went from 35% to 45%. I wanted to wait a bit to see if there would be some change in the weather, but after experiencing the brutal temperatures in the beginning of the Summer, I decided it was time to do something about it. So, I consulted with a local Heating plus Air Conditioning supplier who advised that the best system for our home was a ductless mini split cooling-only unit. This machine was simple to install, plus I was able to do it myself, plus it required no renovations to our home. I drilled a hole for the drain line plus found a space for the outside condenser plus a arena to mount the indoor evaporators. I am cheerful I got the machine because it made our home a lot more comfortable while the people I was with and I were in the Summer.
