When I bought a new house for my family to live in, we all really loved the place.
The only thing is that the place was a fixer-upper.
We worked on cleaning up and making some renovations. I kept saying that we should do something about the HVAC system but nobody was listening to me. My wife said the HVAC should be fine, even though it seemed to be entirely ancient. It was the middle of the spring season, so the temperatures were already perfect and we didn’t have to worry too much about the climate control system. I kept telling my wife that we should get the cooling system tuned up at least if we weren’t going to replace it. We actually tested the cooling system and it was blowing cool air. We even put in a new air filter into the HVAC system and it seemed to be in working order. Well, when we got into the summer season without getting the tune-up, we were soon regretting it. The cooling system quit working and we had to call up the HVAC company to get the cooling system fixed. We had to wait several days just for the HVAC technician to arrive so we were really struggling. When the HVAC technician looked everything over, he told us that our HVAC was totally shot and we needed to upgrade it altogether. My wife apologized for not listening to me in the first place. I knew that the HVAC seemed to be way too old even though it was still working when we moved in.
