For the last 2 weeks, my sibling-in-law & my mother-in-law have been staying at my home with my wifey & I.
They really only came to see the baby, but it has been easily nice to have them around.
All of us don’t get to spend a lot of time with them, & it is regularly nice to have them over. However, I am getting easily sleepy of hearing them complain about the temperature in our house. Apparently, they use their Heating & A/C units differently than all of us do. My wifey & I don’t make a lot of money, & all of us try to use our Heating & A/C units easily moderately. Heating & A/C units can be easily extravagant when you are using them regularly, so all of us try not to. Right now, it is Spring, & the hot & cold temperatures outside & inside are perfect, however our home is currently kneeling at 72 degrees, & while in the night, all of us have the furnace set to 72 degrees so that all of us stay warm while all of us are sleeping. If all of us are cold, all of us open up the window instead of turning on the cooling system. However, my in-laws are not used to that kind of heat, even though it is not easily warm, they usually set their thermostat to 71 degrees. They complain about the difference in temperature, & I have to spend all day hearing them while about it. However, I particularly refuse to turn on the central cooling system just because they are whining. I refuse to allow them to control myself and others in this manner. They can use their thermostat however they want to, but all of us don’t want an outrageous electricity bill.
