My son ran an orange juice stand

When I inherited my parent’s large property, I wasn’t quite sure what to do with it.

While the home was beautiful, the yard it had was massive.

Coming from a suburban neighborhood with a tiny yard that I maybe occasionally had to take a weed whacker to, seeing this massive 6 acre property was intimidating. Not only that, but it was practically an orchard. There were all different kinds of fruit trees. Mainly orange trees, although there were also peach and lemon trees as well. It took a lot of learning as well as getting professional help, before I started getting the hang of it. Anyways, the issue with all of that fruit was that if it was not picked, it would just fall to the ground and rot. It also seems these trees never stop producing fruit, so that makes it difficult to give away all of it. Although since I let anyone in the neighborhood have the fruit, I have become quite popular. My son had a great idea, and decided to make an orange juice stand. I told him that lemonade would be more popular, but he assured me that with such great quality oranges, the orange juice would sell well. He chose a great time, it was in the middle of summer, and the heat was bad. I was worried people were going to stay inside with their air conditioning system. Instead, a lot of people were coming outdoors. My son was right, his orange juice stand did well. After a while, we were both ready to go inside back to the A/C. Other people were also retreating to their homes for sweet cooling relief. My son and I then spent time in the air conditioning filled house, talking about what a great solution that was to our fruit problem.
