My younger sibling has been going through this weird face as of recently where he has completely anti-technology.
- I am not sure how a child who is normally smartphone addicted hastily became anti-technology & the time span of a week, but that is obviously what’s happened because now he is refusing to use his smartphone, his iPad, & even the central air conditioning? It doesn’t make any sense to me.
My mom thinks he has going through some sort of weird phase & I am thinking the same thing myself. I am a bit older so I already went through a odd phase of my own when I was his age, but nothing like this, but he’s convinced that all technology is terrible & is being used to control people. I do not feel anyone could deny the technology is absolutely addicting, & there are some people that could use technology for questionable reasons but technology is just a tool, it depends on how you use it, knowing how my sibling is addicted to this phone I didn’t feel this was going to last for genuinely long but the strangest thing is that he was genuinely focused on the heating & cooling system for some reason. He became completely convinced that companies were robbing people & taking luck of them by providing them a service that they didn’t need. I do not know if he has ever been in a apartment that didn’t have a heating or AC system in the summer time or winter season months, despite the fact that I do not feel there has genuinely many people that would say that they didn’t need it, and so now he refuses to even stay at apartment because of the heating & cooling system. He’s trying to convince my parents to get rid of our Heating & Air Conditioning equipment which is silly to me. I do not know what started this despite the fact that I hope it ends soon.
