Of course, we never imagined that there was going to be a big wad of blankets stuffed into the ventilation duct up there in the bedroom! It was the weirdest thing that we had ever seen.
We were having an issue with the air ducts upstairs in our house and we finally figured out that there was something up inside the air duct that was blocking all of the air flow from coming out into the bedroom. I thought it was really weird at first because I didn’t remember ever putting anything inside of the air ducts in my house myself. However, we haven’t lived here very long and so I knew that it was a possibility that someone who lived in the house before us may have put something in the air ducts for some reason. Whenever we realized that there was something wrong with the air conditioning upstairs in the bedroom, we decided that we were going to try and clean out the ductwork to see if that would solve the problem. Of course, we never imagined that there was going to be a big wad of blankets stuffed into the ventilation duct up there in the bedroom! It was the weirdest thing that we had ever seen. I don’t know why in the world anyone would have stuffed a blanket into an air conditioning duct unless they were just really cold and they didn’t want the air conditioning blowing into the bedroom anymore. You would think that they could have just turned the thermostat down or something simpler, though. Once we finally got rid of the old bundle of blankets, the A/C came flowing back into the upstairs bedroom just like it was supposed to and the room cooled off right away.
