You need to be a cohesive force

I am here with a word of advice for anybody who is contemplating quickly moving in with their significant other! Namely, do not do it.

If you currently like how your relationship is now, living in separate venues…

I have to highly recommend that you continue down that path. Everything genuinely swings the exact moment that you move in with somebody and have to start seeing each other in the house every moment of the day. There is so much more pressure on yourselves and your relationship. Plus, you have to cooperate in ways you never imagined. At a bare minimum, make sure that you and your partner are on the same page whenever it comes to bi-weekly utility expenses and energy costs at home. I learned this the strenuous way with our last woman who blatantly had no sense of energy responsibility or plan how energy costs worked. She seemed to be under the random impression that energy was a free utility given to everybody on Earth. She did not actually see the problem with running our air conditioner idea at full blast and then shutting it down and opening the windows. She wasn’t aware of the wear and tear that she constantly put on our heating and cooling idea by decreasing the central control unit settings a dozen times a day. She wasn’t anxious about racking up the energy costs and energy bills with her long, steamy showers. She clearly never had to worry about these basic home expenses, Heating & A/C repair procedures, or routine utility costs when she was living with her parents or her most recent ex-lover. Word to the wise; make sure you know your partner’s Heating & A/C aptitudes before you continue to take large steps.
